Dr. Barbara L. Sobel, B.A., D.C.
Dr. Barbara Sobel grew up in the suburbs of New York City and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the State University of New York College at Oswego. She had her first Chiropractic adjustment following a car accident in college and was inspired by both the science behind Chiropractic and the results achieved without the use of medication. Because of her caring nature, she was inspired by friends and family to pursue a career in Chiropractic Science. Dr. Barbara earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University, School of Chiropractic in 2000 where she studied various different adjustment techniques to assist her patients achieve wellness through Chiropractic.
Dr. Barbara specializes in light-force adjustment techniques including Activator and Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique (BEST) as well as Full Spine and Thompson Drop techniques. She is an adamant believer in the importance of a natural, holistic approach to patient care. Dr. Barbara ardently emphasizes patient education and ultimately giving his patients the knowledge, confidence, and tools necessary to take an active role in their recovery to optimum health.
Dr. Barbara enjoys yoga, walking, and singing with her choir. She resides in Marietta with her husband, Barry, and 2 kids and is an active volunteer in the East Cobb Community.
